And that's especially true when the actress and entrepreneur walks a red carpet. The 48-year-old stunner always looks gorgeous, and while we might not have access to her designer duds, we can try out her red carpet-worthy mascara. In an Instagram post about Witherspoon's beauty look for the event, makeup legend Charlotte Tilbury raved that the Exagger-eyes mascara is "the secret to BIGGER! THICKER! LONGER! LOOKING LASHES!"

The vegan mascara is formulated to lengthen, curl and volumize in just a few swipes. According to the brand, this mascara boasts a whopping 28 hours of wear time and gives wearers nine times more volume. It's also smudge-, sweat-, flake- and humidity-proof, and packed with jojoba waxes, which help condition lashes. Plus, this mascara is packaged in glass to help better preserve the formula over time.

This mascara's wand is a key component in achieving that movie star look. The brush is curved to help lift and evenly coat lashes, so you end up with high-impact, clump-free peepers. For best results, the brand suggests holding the wand horizontally at the base of your lashes and wiggling it up the lashes.

Charlotte Tilbury's Exagger-eyes has more than 30,000 "loves" on Sephora and plenty of glowing reviews to boot.

One happy user wrote, "I was in desperate need of a good mascara as my eyelashes are long but super thin. This was the PERFECT one. I knew by looking at the brush [that] this was gonna be perfect and it did not disappoint!"

Another shared: "I love this mascara. I think this is comparable to the MAC Stack mascara that was released not that long ago. It definitely makes my eyelashes look fake. Will be repurchasing this. The packaging is also very luxurious."

Some shoppers did note that the bold formula can feel a bit heavy: "I like the wand but the formula is really wet, which made my lashes fall down. It makes my lashes look so much longer though!"
